My Journey

Janice at Beach_edited.jpg

Jan Block

I know what it feels like to carry the weight of stress, heartbreak, and uncertainty while still trying to show up strong for everyone else. I also know the joy of rising above the challenges, finding my balance and thriving.

From Loss to Resilience

My journey began with deep loss. The tragic death of my sister when I was young changed me forever. As an adult I endured and finally broke free from a 15-year marriage steeped in abuse and faced the challenges that come with being a single mother. These experiences tested every part of me—body, mind, emotion, and spirit. But they also sparked a deeper quest: How do we find peace, strength, and meaning, even in the hardest seasons of life?

Walking Beside Others in Crisis

Alongside my personal healing, I felt called to serve. Over the past two decades, I’ve supported people through trauma, stress, and life-altering events in roles such as:

  • RCMP Victim Services Advocate

  • Critical Incident Stress Management Debriefer & Team Director

  • Hospital Security Officer

  • Front-line worker in animal rescue and veterinary care

These experiences gave me a front-row seat to human resilience. I witnessed people at their most vulnerable—and I discovered the incredible power of compassion, presence, and heart-centered support.

The Turning Point

Even with years of professional experience, I knew I needed more than just surface-level coping strategies. My own healing journey led me to study trauma recovery, stress reduction, psychology, hypnosis, and coaching.

But it wasn’t until I discovered HeartMath® techniques and the power of nature-based wellness (including Young Living essential oils) that everything clicked into place. I realized that true healing comes not only from surviving—but from reconnecting with the heart, restoring inner balance, and learning to thrive with clarity and purpose.

What I Believe

I believe resilience is not about “being tough” or pretending everything is fine. It’s about learning how to quiet the chaos inside, release the patterns that keep us stuck, and access the calm, wise guidance of the heart.

I believe every challenge—no matter how painful—carries within it a seed of strength and transformation.

And I believe women, especially in midlife transitions, have an incredible opportunity: to turn stress, loss, or uncertainty into a powerful new chapter filled with confidence, vitality, and purpose.

Today

Today, I combine science-backed HeartMath® coaching with holistic tools like essential oils to help women in transition:

  • Release stress and overwhelm

  • Reclaim energy, clarity, and confidence

  • Restore harmony between body, mind, emotions, and spirit

  • Rise into a new season of life with strength and purpose

This isn’t just my work—it’s my calling. Because I know firsthand that when you step into the wisdom of your heart, you don’t just heal… you transform.

You become more resilient, more empowered, and more you than ever before.

✨ This is my story. But really, it’s about you—and what becomes possible when we walk this path together.

Much love,
Jan

It's in my nature to spend time in nature

I know the value of spending time in nature. It is one of the most fun ways to reduce stress and connect with ourselves and our world on a deeper level. Taking photos along the way is one of my hobbies.
